Picasso was one of the most creative and experimental talents ever to explore the medium of print. British Museum exhibition curator Catherine Daunt discusses highlights of the Museum’s new exhibition Picasso: printmaker for ARTscapades, focusing on some major themes in Picasso’s art including bullfights, the Minotaur and his complex, and at times troubling, depictions of women.
Picasso: printmaker is at the British Museum from 7 November 2024 to 30 March 2025. The exhibition catalogue by Catherine Daunt is available here; purchasers of this recording will receive a code for 10% off via the British Museum online shop.
The public and accessible programme for this exhibition is supported by ARTscapades.
