Marylebone was once a tiny rural neighbourhood on the banks of a river. Blue Badge guide Katie Wignall leads an in-person walk exploring this quaint village in the heart of the West End to trace the history of this unique London area. From unlikely war heroes, to eccentric aristocrats and beautiful townhouses, to lost rivers and the grimmest 19th century slums, there is much to discover of surprising former residents and inspiring history hiding in plain sight.
